ARMISTICE DAY
USUAL ARRANGEMENTS
APPROVED BY KING
(British Official Wireless.) (Received November 1, noon.) * RUGBY, October 31. ' The arrangements for Armistice Day celebrations in Britain on November 11 will generally speaking follow the practice of recent" years, and plans for the central celebrations at the Whitehall Cenotaph have been approved by the King. Representative detachments of the Royal Navy, Army, and Royal Air Force, the merchant navy, and fishing fleets, together with a contingent of exservicemen and women, will march to the Cenotaph and form a hollow square. The service, which will be attended by the King, will be conducted by the, Bishop -of London. Before tho ceremony wreaths will be placed at tho base of the Cenotaph by the King and the Prince of Wales. Other wreaths will be laid on behalf of the members of the Royal Family, Empire Governments, and Services. At the stroke of 11 o'clock the two minutes' silence, which,' as usual, will be the feature of all services throughout the Empire, will be. observed, ' [
