MOTORISTS FINED
Breaches o£ the motor regulations were dealt with by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court. yesterday, Fines of 10s each were imposed upon William James McGill, Dudley Noel Anderson, and Garth Clement Twyneham for failing to give way to traffic approaching on the right. For having no driver's licence, John Edward Condren was fined 10s, and Dudley Noel Anderson was convicted and ordered to pay costs. Burton Solomon was fined 10s for passing a tram on the off-side, and fines of a similar amount were imposed upon John Morris Giles Cleary, for cutting into a line, of traffic, and Geoffrey Horatio Nelson Grimestqne for failing to keep to the left. For driving a truck without the assigned number, Charles Free was convicted • and ordered to pay costs. Daniel Shaw was fined £2 for negligent driving, and for driving without a licence he was fined 10s. Fines of £1 each were imposed upon John, Doble Broughton for driving in a manner which might have been dangerous, and upon Richard Stanley Maunder for driving at a speed which might have been dangerous. Leonard Hunter Whitelaw was fined £1 for negligent- driving* . For not having jaieir vehicles properly lighted, Leslie HarWood Heslop, Thomas Pereival Hoare, Hugh R. Johustone, John Mitchell, Henry David Morgan, and Symons Nausbaum were each lined £1, and Douglas McNeil Burns, Stuart Archibald Criehton, Thomas Alfred Dobson, Charles Free, Robert Steele Martin, Peter McLaughlin, William Murie, William Robertson, Simon Scott, Saul Solomons, William Henry Jervis, and Kenneth Joseph Wilson were each fined 10s.
