WAIWETU CLUB
The Waiwetu Club's official closing took place during the weekend, when trophies won were presented by Mr. C. F. Pulley. The closing day competition's results were:—Xinc-holes one-club, W. Grego-jy, net 40; foursome \(!) holes), tie between Mrs. W. 'IV Wilson and A. Clelland and J. GilberUon and V. R. Stace, both 3S, 5—33; long drive, A. Clelland; aggregate of three drives,, N. O. Maitland; aggregate of three drives for the ladies, Mrs. Ryan; and longest ladies' drive, Miss Findlay. I N. O. Mnitland, J. B. Wallace, and R. G. Holland tied in the approaching and put-ting contest, and Wallace won the playoff. In the ladies', section, Mrs. Ryan and Miss Milne tied, and the former won the play-off. . . The following.will represent the club m the field day for Watt Cup players at Shandon on Sunday nest:—A. Clelland, G. B. Ward, G. Hogg, R. G. Holland, AY. T. Wilson, L. Marsden, W. Pere, N. O. Maitland, G. Cook, J. A. McKay, J. Gilbertson, L. D. Matthews, B. Barker, J. B. Wallace, G. Hatfield, and A. J. Gwilliam.' „ . , Members will arrange their own partners for singles in'the morning, and a fourball in the afternoon.
