SURPRISE VISIT
PARTY AT KARORI
Major and Mrs. W. I. K. Jennings, who are leaving Wellington to live in Christchurch, were visited on Saturday evening by a number of friends at their home in KaroriV The "surprise" party, iwhich was also a farewell one, was.arranged by Mr. and' Mrs. Cecil Quane, and a very enjoyable evening was spent in dancing. Mrs. Jennings wore a frock of pastel pink georgette,- and Mrs. Quane was in black lace. The guests included Dr. and Mrs. John Plimmer, Mr. and Mrs. Lan Tringham, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Miles, Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Todd, Mr. ■ anjl Mrs. Moataa Doughty, Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Bradshaw.Mr. and Mrs. Claude Batten, Mr. and Mrs. E. Pope, Mrs. M.
