PARTY AT KARORI

Major and Mrs. W. I. K. Jennings, who are leaving Wellington to live in Christchurch, were visited on Saturday evening by a number of friends at their home in KaroriV The "surprise" party, iwhich was also a farewell one, was.arranged by Mr. and' Mrs. Cecil Quane, and a very enjoyable evening was spent in dancing. Mrs. Jennings wore a frock of pastel pink georgette,- and Mrs. Quane was in black lace. The guests included Dr. and Mrs. John Plimmer, Mr. and Mrs. Lan Tringham, Mr. and Mrs. C. C.
