Taylor and hor son, Mr. Lewis Taylor, left by the Tamaroa yesterday, en route to England, -where Mr. Taylor, as a result of the aeroplane crash last year at Johnsonville, will undergo further operations. Miss May Wilkins, who represents the Wellington Amateur Athletic Club on the Wellington Amateur Athletic Centre, ana is the first lady delegate to that body, was heartily welcomed at the annual meeting of the centre last night, Mr. E. W. McVilly, president of the New Zealand Council, said that Miss Wilkins's attendance as representative of the ladies was a step in the right direction.
