AIR CRASH IN FRANCE
FAMOUS ACE KILLED

PARIS, October 30,
The air ace De Verneuil, who accompanied M. Pierre Cot, the Air Minister, to Russia, was killed in a crash at Blaisy-Haut, with a mechanic and ■wireless operator in the famous aeroplane Biarritz in which he flew to New Caledonia in 1932.
