Conway's team is the three-year-old filly Miss ■ Louvaine, by Callaghan from Fertility, the latter by Husbandman from Generosity, by Chasseur. Generosity was the dam of Hushman, a useful Taranaki performer some, seasons back. Oriel,, the. half-brother to Benzora, is putting plenty of dash into his work and will attract attention when produced for racing. He is a splendid jumper with tons of pace, but is a' poor doer and may lack stamina. E. Bioiigh has an addition to his team in a hunter by Star Stream, who is to be prepared for hurdle racing. Mr. AY. P. Cochrane has had his gelding Argument, by Antagonist from Polemic, brought in again. Tried as a three-year-old, Argument showed pace on the tracks but went wrong and has been turned out for a couple of seasons. Polemic, the dam^was a fair, performer some years back on Taranaki courses.
