GOOD ALL-ROUND FIELDS

(Special from "Early Bird.") AUCKLAND, This Day. The Waikato Hunt Club's Annual Meeting is to be held at Cambridge on Monday, Labour Day. Fields are quite good, the smallest number of runners being in the principal handicap event. The number engaged in the Bardowie Handicap has been reduced to 27, but this is still three over the safety number, and it may be run in divisions. Should this be the case, the divisions will comprise:— First division: Sinking Fund, Star Artist, Try Luck, Booklaw, Good Run, Phiakuo, Mustang, Tin Lap, Kopurere, Miss Lulu, Queen Nassau, Koyal Lap, Spearwin, and Town Planner.. Second division: Lady Zinnia, Dark Marble, Silver Division, Great Britain, Glenrbmney, Searcher, Te Taua, Maori Jack, Muriel Comet, Rose of England, Sandy Dix, Springtime, and Val Watch. Chief Cook has already been scratched for the Bollard Memorial Handicap. Form horses for Monday are as follows:— 11.50—Farmers' Steeplechase: Sir Glamis, Cordon, and Taha. 12.35—Hunters' Hurdles: Glenade, Coachman, and Sir Pathfinder. I.2o—Bardowie Handicap: First division —Star Artist and Phiakuo. Secoud division—Lady Zinnia and Dark Marble. 2.lo—Members' Memorial: D'Artagnan and Desert Star. 2.ss—Waikato Hunt Cup: Wiltshire, Valpeen, and Neil. 3.4o—Bruntwood Handicap: Grand Score. Merry Lap, and Lady Zinnia-Princess Bede bracket. 4.3o—Ladies' Bracelet: Ruby Meteor, Golden England, and Coachman. s.ls—Bollard Memorial: Prolyxo, Tenakoe, and Paganelli.
