TRIP TO ENGLAND

During the prize-giving ceremony at tha conclusion of the New Zealand ladies' golf championship final it was announced that the executive of the New Zealand Ladies* Golf Union had decided to send Misses; Kay and Gaisford to England to partici-' pate in the English ladies' championship, which, it is understood, will be held in. l Wales next May. Misses Kay and Gais* ford will probably leave in February. The Ladies' Golf Unibn is making an, appeal for financial support in the project,1 and already the Marton Golf Club has; notified its intention of providing £25. The Wanganui Club is holding a special benefit tournament next Saturday week.
