ROBERTSON'S PLANS
Austin Robertson, the-Victorian professional sprinter, who accompanied the Winooka party to the United States,' returned to Sydney ■on October 9,' a disappointed man. He said that,, in a population of 120 million, no runner had been found with whom a race could bo arranged. A proposal for ~a match race against Eddie Tolan'kad fallen through; but it Was hoped that the United States champion would visit Australia early next year, when he (Eobertson) would defend his title as world's professional sprint champion. Eobertson said that he had given a number of exhibition sprints in the United' States, and had ou one occasioh covered 100 yards in 9 11-16 see..
