MASTERTON TOURNEY

The annual boxing tournament of the Hadlow Preparatory School, Masterton, was held in the Assembly Hall on Friday evening, and was witnessed by a large attendance of parents and friends. The contestants were well matched, the winners invariably having to fight hard to gain the decision. At the conclusion of the tour- | nament Sir William Perry, chairman of the Parents' Association, congratulated I the principal, Mr. A. W. Don, and the staff on the showing which the boys had made, remarking that the scholars had acquitted themselves well and were evidently profiting by the instruction received.
