THE BEAUCHAMP GIFTS
ART GALLERY AND MUSEUM
The Public Trustee has transferred to the trustees of the National Art Gallery and Museum the sum of £6000 7s 3d. This represents the donation of £5000 plus accrued interest to date, made by Sir Harold Beauchamp towards the cost of the gallery and. museum.
It will' also bo recailled that1 Sir Harold Beauchamp gave property in Fitzherbert Terrace to fee disposed of for the purposes of providing pictures for the new gallery. That property was sold and the proceeds with interest have now reached nearly £10,000. This fund has been administered by tho Public Trustee, and will continue to be so administered panding the. completion of the art gallery and then ba used for the objefct Sir Harold Beauchamp had in yijew.
