BEER BOYCOTTERS
OUSTED FROM HOTEL
MRS. MURPHY'S SHILLELAGH
(Received September 20, 2 p.m.)
LONDON, September 19.
Five armed men raided Thomas Murphy's hotel at Dundalk with the idea of demolishing his stock of English ale. They overruled the customers' protests until Mrs. Murphy arrived, whirling a shillelagh, with which she routed the intruders, remarking happily: "I couldn't give 'cm anything more Irish than that."
