THEFT AND ASSAULT
HABITUAL CRIMINAL GAOLED
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Thomas Henry Goody, aged 44, who stole a pair of boots from a city shop yesterday and threw them at a pursuer, hitting him in tho eye, was sentenced today to one month's imprisonment for theft and assault. The Magistrate, Mr. E. D. Mosleyj, said that Goody was an habitual criminal who had bceu out on licence.
