A NELSON TRY-OUT

At Trafalgar Park today the Nelson representative Rugby team to challenge for the Seddon Shield on Saturday had a j try-out against a B representative team, and won by 34 points (seven tries, five converted, and a penalty goal) to 18 (three converted tries and a penalty goal). The. play of the representative backs, especially that of Stewart and Watson; was impressive, but the forward division was not as good as that of the B team. For the representatives Clark, Boyce, McLean, Drutnmond, L. Max (2), and Watson were the try-getters, Stewart converting five with great kicks. He also kicked the penalty goal. For the B team Shuttleworth (2) and McHarg were the try-scorers. Newman also'had a good'day with his kicking, converting the three tries and kicking a penalty goal.-
