BRILLIANT METEOR
SEEN IN NEW SOUTH WALES
(Received August 5, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. A huge, brilliantly-coloured meteor in the shape of a monoplane moved slowly across the sky in an easterly direction last night. It was witnessed by observers as far as 300 miles inland.
