CLIPPER MEDWAY SOLD
What was once the fine clipper barque Medway has been sold to Japanese shipbreakers for £1500. She was built in 1902 by Messrs. A. McMillan and Son, for the Spanish Government, to bo used in the training of cadets. Her first name was Ama Begonaka. After making one voyage she was laid up in Bilboa harbour for four years, and later was Tsold to Messrs. pavitt and Moore, London,
