COLLEGE MATCH
The failure of tho teams to(providc football of the typo expected -was not the only- unsatisfactory feature of tho match between the first fifteens of Wellington College and St. Patrick's College (Silverstroam) at Athletic Park on Wednesday. A- notable omission in the arrangements for the match was in. regard to ball boys, there being none of these assistants -qn hand,to chase the leather when it was sent out of bounds, ,'aithough' 'sonic youngsters jumped the fence on the ■western side to save the participants" some- unnecessary running. Apparently, too, the ; regular service from first-aid helpers was missing, as on one occasion wlien such help .w'a"s required there1 was no response. ;■;"_ To those, not acquainted with' th&^Wcllington College players the .programme: was of no help.' In most cases the: liuinber^ worn, by the Wellington C6llegO;boys did not tally with those shown against their names in the programme. Alto? gether the match wasone of the most disappointing, on ■ record. , ~
