MOTOR-CAR CAPSIZES
WOMAN DIES FROM INJURIES
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 'August 4. As a result of a motor-car in which she was riding capsizing in Garficld Avenue, Eoslyn, this afternoon, a single woman, 33 years of age, named Ivy May Davidson Perriara, received injuries to her head which caused her death in hospital later in the, day. The deceased, who resided at Mosgiel, was travelling in her own car, which was being driven by a friend, Kobert Barker, a miner, of Mosgiel. He turned the'car into Garfield Avenue, which is a very steep street, but the deceased told him that that was the wrong street and he stopped the car, intending: to back out again into Highgate. The wheels, however, were on a greasy patch and the car slid forward, going partly up the steep bank and capsizing downhill. The driver escaped unhurt, but Miss Perriam received serious injuries about the head. She was removed to hospital, and died at 4.50 p.m. i
