ALLOCATION OF WORK
WASHINGTON, August 4. The Navy Department today awardei contracts for 21 ships to bo built at private shipyards. Sixteen vessels are to :be constructed at the navy yards. The face value of the contracts is approximately 130,000,000 dollars, not including armament and fittings.
