CHRISTINA FRASER
MARINE COURT'S FINDING
WIRELESS SHOULD BE FITTED
SYDNEY, August 4. The Marine Court of Inquiry, delivering its finding, is unable to say what caused the loss of the steamer Christina Fraser, which foundered about June 24. No blame is attachable to the owners or to their servants. * The Court also found that the vessel was seaworthy and properly equipped with lifeboats. She was not overloaded nor improperly loaded. Insurance's on the vessel were £25,000. The Court expressed the opinion that all seagoing vessels on the Australian coast should bo fitted with wireless apparatus, expressing the opinion that it was quite possible that had the, Christina Fraser or the Koranui, which was nearby when the former was in trouble, had wireless, signals for assistance could have been sent.
