TREES FOR THE SCHOOLS
Next week the schools in the Wellington district will be busy planting trees, the Forestry Department furnishing 3600 of them for distribution. Tho trnes to be supplind include Douglas fir, sequoia, pinus banksiana, pinus murrayana, pinus sylvestris, pinus ponderosa, populus robusta, taxifolia, and some of the eucalypts. Tho same department is, also supplying some 123 packets of seeds. This . tree-planting week takes the place of any general recognition of Arbor Day, although serving the same purpose.
