STOWAWAY FINED
A fine of £5 was imposed at-the Magistrate's Court today on Stephen Francis Neary, a storeman, aged 44, who pleaded. Kuilty before Mr. E.Page, S.M V _to a charge of stowing away ,on the Rangatira at Lyttelton. Sub-Tnspcctor Martin said that the- accused boarded "the'-ferry boat at Lyttelton on July 25 and was discovered by th« first mate after the ship had Bailed. H« gave the name of Fole? to the mate.-.but it was afterward.' ascertained by: mean* of finger-prints that his name wa* Neary. ,
