Replying to a question in Parliament* Captain Anthony Eden said that no dis« eussions for a peVmancnt treaty, as dis* tinct from a trade agreement, were ia progress at present between Britain and the Soviet Governments. Whether they werelikely to take place depended on various circumstances, including thai Soviet attitude towards debts and claims. '
