KING AND QUEEN DEPART
VISIT TO SOUTHAMPTON

Holiday crowds witnessed the ceremony of the changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace this morning, and gave the King and Queen an enthusiastic send-off on their departure for Portsmouth, where their Majesties will board the Royal yacht, Victoria and Albert, which will bo their headquarters during the Criwes Regatta and until their return to London on. August 7. Tomorrow they will sail up Southampton AVater for the- opening by the King of the world's largest graving dock recently constructed there.
Their Majesties joined the Royal yacht at Portsmouth later in the day, and later sailed for Cowes, where they will remain during the regatta, which begins on Monday. They wero received with a salute of 21 guns from the guardship, H.M.S. Rodney, and the Royal Yacht Squadron and yachts assembled in the roadstead dipped their ensigns as the Royal yacht passed.
