DIFFERENCES OF PAY
"Sparkie" draws attention to differences of pay in different trades and submits arguments to show that occupations which call for high technical skiirand long training do not receive rewards commensurate with the pay of less-skilled trades. He cites the rate of Is W&d 'an hour for electricians (not electrical wiremen), on whom the public depend to maintain essential power services and repair intricate machinery. "As every employer using power-driven machinery knows, when his motors stop his source of income stops."
