POWER-LINE TROUBLE
Since the Post and Telegraph Department appointed an officer to investigate the many sources of interference to radio receivers in' Napier, there has been, a noticeable improvement in certain areas. The earthquake placed a great strain upon power insulators, many of which subsequently broke down, with most unhappy results _ for owners of multi-valve radio sets. Since his appointment nearly two months ago, the trouble-tracking officer has been very active. In some sectors of Napier he has been confronted with some stiff problems, some of which at first seemed difficult of solution, but gradually he has been able to lessen much of the trouble.. Though conditions are by_no means ideal, they are considerably improved. ___^____^___
