TARIFF COMMISSION
An application for the removal of th« duty of 20 per cent, on sanitary eartaenware was made by the British Sanitary Fireclay Association before th 9 Tariff Commission yesterday. Mr. P. Di Hoskins, managing director of Catholic Supplies,' Ltd., asked for the free admission of requisites for the Catholic Church and requisites used by Catholics generally. . Mr: N. A. Wilton, representing G. W. Wilton and Co., Ltd., sought a reduction in the general tariff from~2s per cent, to 20 per cent, on crucibles used for laboratory work.
