REV. SAMUEL LAWRY

CHRISTCHURCH, July 20.
The Bcv. Samuel Lawry, one of the most prominent figures in the' Methodist Church in Now Zealand, died this afternoon cat the home of his son, Mr. Melville Lawry. The late Mr. Lawry was 82 years of age. Fifty years of his life, was spent in the Methodist ministry,' 34 years in circuit work and. 10 years as connexional secretary of the Methodist Church in New Zealand.
