CLAIM FOR DAMAGES
The case in which Winifred Strachan is claiming £370 18s lOd general'and special damages from 'Eddie George Shearer, a draper, of Lower Hutt, for injuries received in a motor collision at the comer of Waterloo Road and Waikato Street, Lower Hutt, on October 24 last, was continued before Mr. Justice MacGregor and a jury of twelvo in the Supreme Court today. After viewing the scene of the accident and hearing addresses by counsel (Mr. O. C. Mazengarb for the plaintiff and Mr. H. F. O'Leary for the defendant), th'a jury retired at 12.45 p.m., and had not returned up to the time of going to press. m _^ m^^^^^^^^^
