PURCHASE OF AIRCRAFT

RUGBY July 26. Replying to a question, Captain" Anthony Eden said that the German Air Minister expressed to the British Air Attache in Berlin on July 15 his desire to purchase 25 to 50 British aircraft for police purposes. The British' charge d'affaires in Berlin, informed the German Government yesterday that his Majesty's .Government could not countenance the sale of British aircraft to the German Government for purposes forbidden by the Paris Air Agreement.
