BUTTER MARKET IMPROVES
The New Zealand Producers' Co-opera-tive Marketing Association is advised by cablegram from London today that the butter market is firm, with Xe\y Zealand ruling 80s to 82s per cwt. Danish is 96s per cwt. The Xew Zealand cheese market is also firm, prices being 40s per cwt for white and 51s to 52s for coloured cheese.
Joseph Xathan and Co., Ltd., have received from Trengrouse and Xathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled advice, dated July 25:—"Xew Zealand butter, 82s per cwt. Xew Zealand cheese, white 49s per cwt, coloured 51s per cwt. Both markets more active "
Mr. Thomas Gray has received the following cable from Mr. A. C. Rowson, dated London, July 25:—"Butter, 82s per .cwt, with upward tendency. Cheese, white 49s per cwt, coloured 52s per ewt; market firmer, with upward tendency."
