TIN DREDGING.
' Tin ■ experienced a setback, states the Sydney Stock Exchange, though the price is still substantially above £200 a ton, or about double what it was a year ago. Nevertheless, stocks are being reduced at a comparatively slow rate, and severe restrictions on output continue to operate. A number of eastern dredges are idle, and ot.hers are working only part-time. Despite reduced demand, share prices held fairly well.
Tin yield of these undertakings for June was 633 tons 16cwt; for May, 788 tons 6cwt; for April, 846 tons 3cwt.
