In the .report of the annual meeting of the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand He'd Cross Society published in Saturday's "Post," it .was stated that Major J. Abel was nominated as third delegate to the New Zealand Council but fox want of a seconder the nomination lapsed and the other nominee was elected. Mr. N, A. Grant, who was chairman of the meeting, writes stating that Major Abel's nomination, was seconded and that the decision, was arrived at by a show of hands.
