W.E.A. AT LOWER HUTT
•The first part of the W.E.A. session at Lower Hutt. (a course on social psychology) having been completed, a ; second course will begin tomorrow. There will be eight lectures, giving a survey of the development of the drama of. this century. The lecturer is Mrs. C. Mackenzie, M.A., Dip. Ed. (nee Mary Cooley), and the subjects of her lectures will be:—-(1) New 'Dramatic Values—George. Bernard Shaw; (2) John Galsworthy; (3) More plays of Ideas and propaganda; (4) Sir James Barrie; (5) The Irish' dramatists; (6) John Drinkwater; . (7) The One-act Play; (8) John Van Druten. If the- members of the class desire it, a play-reading group will be formed.
