PRINTED ADVERTISING DUTIES IN DOMINIONS
LONDON, Juno 5. The London Chamber of Commerce, says "Tho Times," has submitted to the Dominions Secretary, Mr. J. H. Thomas, a Board of Trade memorandum for communication to the Dominions and colonies, urging that all printed advertising, including catalogues, posters, and sho%veards should bo admitted duty frco throughout the Empire. • The chamber contends that this would bo in accord with .the principles for the extension of trade • formulated at Ottawa, and would stimulate exporters to enlarge their Empire trade, thus benefiting Dominions' Customs revenue. advertising'matter is already admitted free to Britain.
