EMPIRE AT CONFERENCE SO MR, BENNETT SAYS
(Received Juno 14, 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 13. ' The Canadian Primo Minister (Mr. It. B. Bennett) told journalists that tho World and Ottawa Conferences were not related except that tiio latter hail reached agreements. "Let us hope," he said, "wo shall agree here." The important questions for the Conference, ho considered, were the "iso lof silver as au alternative to gold and
stabilisation. Failing stabilisation, it would become almost impossible' to transact international business. Canada had come to tho Conference in her owa interests. "As far as we are concerned," he added, "thcro is no common plan. It is impossible for any statesman to speak on behalf of the whole Empire."
