POPULARITY OF ANGORAS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. At the annual conference of the New Zealand Rabbit Breedors' Association the president, Mr. E. E. Rogers, of Havelock North, traced the year's developments. He said that Angora wool was growing in popularity and prices had T>cen fairly steady. Tho outlook regarding fur breeds was not so bright, and he warned members against the extensive breeding of pelting rabbits. Tho number engaged in the breeding industry was now nearly one thousand. Tho following officers were elected:— Patron, the Hon. E. Masters; president, Mr. Rogers; vice-president, Dr. P. Dry, of Massey College; secretary-treasurer, Mr. Y. H. Benton, of Featherston.
