BIG DEFICIT EXPECTED
INCREASE IN PUBLIC DEBT
WASHINGTON, June 3. The current trends of Government finances indicate a prospective deficit of about 1700 million, dollars for the fiscal year ending June 30, despite approximately a billion decrease in expenditure, and an increase of revenues,of 100 million dollars. It is estimated the public debt wijl be increased by three billions to twentytwo billions. - '
