HITLER WANTS ELECTION
DOLLFUSS MAY APPEAL TO
LEAGUE
GENEVA, June 3. It is understood that Austria is appealing to the League against German, interference in her internal affairs. Herr Hitler recently told the Austrian Ambassador that he wanted a general election in Austria in August. The Premier, Dr. Dollfuss, has so far refused. Dr. Dollfuss may also raise the subject at a meeting with Signor Mussolini during "Whitsuntide.
