Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows, those for May 26 being inparentheses:— Cotton: Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 6.37 d a lb (6.07 d); July delivery, 6.09 d a lb (5.83 d). Rubber: Para, 5V 2 d alb (5 1-8 d); planta|ion smoked ribbed sheet, 3 9-16 d a lb (3 3-32 d). Jute: June-July shipment, Indian jute, Dundee quotation, £18 15s a ton (£.19 ss). • Copra: June-July shipment, South Sea, £11 12s 6d a ton (£ll 2s 6d); plantation, Rabaul, £11 15s a ton (£ll ss). ' Linse.ed oil: £21 5s a ton (£2O ss). Turpentine: 61s 9d a cwt (61s).
