ATTEMPTS AT MASTERTON
" (By Telegraph.—'Press Association.) MASTEETON, This Day. . Three burglaries or attempted burglaries occurred in Masterton during the weekend. - ■ A safe at Hugo and Shearer's drapery premises was shattered' but1 not opened, and the burglar got nothing. St. Matthew's Church was entered, but nothing is missing. An unsuccessful attempt was made to force an entrance to the Wairarapa. Farmers' Co-opera-tive-Association's premises; apparently money, only was the object of the burglar. . . ■ ■ • ;
