LITTLE ENTENTE

PROTEST IN BELGRADE

NO REVISION OF TREATIES

I (Received May 29, 10 a.m.) BELGRADE, May 28. Amid heavy rain, 25,000 citizens from all parts of Yugoslavia vehemently protested against a revision of the Peace Treaties, shouting "Down with Italy," "Down with the Four-Power Pact!" Delegates of the Little Entente States, speaking in different tongues, repeated an identical message: "No revision. We have no desire for war, but are prepared to give our lives to defend the frontiers won with great sacrifices."
