KARORI CLOTHES DRIVE

A successful clothes drive'of the Karon district was made by the Karori Relief Committee on Saturday afternoon, and as a result a supply of clothes, boots, underclothing, hats, etc:, will be distributed aitiong the unemployed. Several Karori residents placed their cars at the disposal of the committee, and about two dozen Boy Scouts, in charge of the scoutmaster, Mr. Clarke, cave excellent service. The inclement weather prevented all the houses being canvassed, but the committee reported that the results were most gratifying.
