CONFERENCE CALLED
■ (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ■ • , AUCKLAND, This Day. Representatives of all those interested in the city milk supply met representatives of the local bodies today. The' Mayor, Mr. G. Hutchison, presided. It was decided to appoint a committee to investigate the conditions of. Hie milk Iracle in Auckland nnrl frnmo machinery for tho institution of a milk council which would govern the milk and cream trades in the metropolitan area, and report back to a further conference. Til opening tho conference tho Mayor said that tho position was'so acute that failure to; reach an agreement would be disastrous to the milk industry.
