In the third round, Satoh and Nurioi (Japan) defeated Lee and Wilde (England), 3-6, 6-2, 6-4, 6-2. In the mixed doubles, third round,. Crawford (Australia) and Miss Seriveu (England) defeated Le Geay (France) and Signorina Valerio' (Italy), 6-4, 64. Boussus and Mile. Barbiei- (France) defeated Hughes and Mrs. AVhittiugstall (England), 5-7, 6-3, 7-5.
