A shallow cyclone which was located on Ihs North Tasman Sea yesterday moved on to northern New Zealand last night and has sine* deepened considerably; As a result, the winds, which were light to moderate and rather variable yesterday, have-freshened and, except In the far they were blowing maim? from the south-cast this morning. 'Mild, dull weather prevailed over the Dominion yesterday, very- little rain being reported.
