DEMAND FOR TOPS
(Received May 26, . 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 23. Offerings at today's wool sales amounted to 7000 bales, including 5081 New Zealand. About C 529 bales were sold. The demand is well sustained at full recent rates. New Zealand sales of greasy halfbred, "M and N," made 12% d highest, 11 1-8U average; greasy crossbred, "Kaiwaka," B%d highest, 5 l-8d average.
