SUBMARINE MAKES. PORT
(British Official Wireless.) KUGBY, May 23. The British submarine L.23 was today rammed by a trawler named Lord Davidson in thick fog seven miles off Kinnaird Head, Abcrdeenshire. Fortunately only slight damage was done, and the L.23 reported that, although she was making water slightly, this could be kept under and she needed no assistance. She was escorted to Kosyth. The L.23 is a. vessel of 7GO tons, with a complement of about 30 men,
