METCALFE'S HIGH JUMP

SYDNEY, May 24. At the Australian inter-university track and field championships at the Cricket Ground today, J. P. Mctcalfe created a new Australian high jump record of 6ft ojin. Ho also won tho 161b shot put with a distance of 3!) feet, which is a university record; also the running broad jump championship with 22ft (Hin. The" Melbourne and Sydney Universities each gained 61 points for the various championships. '
